Ruling AKP wins back majority in Turkey

Nov 2, 2015 - Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) on Monday witnessed a landslide victory by getting 49.4% of the vote. The win in this crucial parliamentary election will help the party regain the majority that it had lost in June this year. The main opposition CHP has got only 25.4% of votes. Lauding the occasion, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the people have chosen action and development over controversy.
