Turkey: 21 ISIS suspects arrested in multiple raids
July 11 , 2015
Twenty-one people with alleged links to the Islamic State (Isis) militant group have been arrested in multiple raids by Turkish authorities, reports say.
The raids were carried out in Istanbul, Kocaeli, and areas near Syria’s border.
Among the people detained, three are believed to be foreigners who were planning to move into Syria. The arrested Turkish nationals allegedly recruited foreign nationals to the Islamic State.
Turkey says it has so far deported about 1,300 foreigners believed to have links with the Islamist militant group.
