Tunisian PM Habib Essid loses No Confidence Motion

Tunisian PM Habib Essid voted out by Lawmakers
Lawmakers of Tunisia, during a no confidence ballot in the parliament, voted overwhelmingly against Prime Minister Habib Essid. 118 lawmakers out of the 191 present in the parliament voted against the incumbent PM. While 3 lawmakers supported Essid, others abstained from voting. Essid has been criticized for not being able to deliver on financial reforms for creating economic growth as well as jobs. President Beji Caid Essebsi has also called for the need of a new unity government for speeding up reforms.
