Tunisia terror attack: Minute's silence to be held in UK for victims
July 3 , 2015
A minute’s silence will be held in Britain for the 30 Britons and eight other people who were killed last week in a gun attack on a Tunisian beach.
The judicial inquiry into the deaths of the UK nationals is also set to begin, with all 30 victims being identified.
Several mosques in the UK will take part in events to remember the victims.
Seifeddine Rezgui, 28, has been identified by Tunisian authorities as the gunman responsible for the massacre. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
Michael Fallon, the UK defense secretary, indicated that the attack may have been planned in Syria.
