Trump Revokes Security Clearance of Ex-CIA Chief John Brennan
August 16 , 2018
John Brennan, the ex-CIA chief, has his security clearance revoked by the US President Donald Trump. This would now bar the Trump's critic from accessing any sensitive information of him. The decision was announced by Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, as she read Mr. Trumps' statement. The statement also highlights the erratic behavior and conduct of Mr. Brennan. Brennan tweeted that the move by the President is aimed to punish critics and suppress freedom of speech. His tweet reads: It should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out. My principles are worth far more than clearances. I will not relent.
