Trump's administration ends the 2012 immigration policy of Obama's administration

  • On Tuesday, the US President Trump officially announced to take out of effect the 2012 immigration policy by the former President Barack Obama which is likely to affect 800,000 Dreamers. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is 2012 federal government program By Obama's administration to allow people brought to the US illegally as children the temporary right to live, study and work legally in America. DACA had protected nearly 800,000 young immigrants brought to the US as children for deportation. Those protected under DACA are known as Dreamers. Trump has urged the Congress to come up with a solution for this condition. US President Trump further added that, “ We must have heart and compassion for the unemployed, struggling and forgotten Americans.”
