Truce in Aleppo continues for the third day

According to the Russian authorities, truce in Aleppo has been extended for the third day. It was to offer some relief to the residents. The halt in fighting in Aleppo is an extension of international efforts toward galvanizing peace talks to bring an end to the five-year-old war. The war has already killed 2,70,000 people and has resulted in displacement of millions. Russia has been flying a bombing campaign to back the forces of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Along with the US, Russia has been spearheading the latest diplomatic push to resolve the conflict in Syria.
