  • The already devastated parts of the Bahamas by the Dorian Storm have yet again been lashed out by the Tropical Storm Humberto. On Sunday, the storm gained strength and was expected to gain force by evening. The hurricane was around 290 km (180 mi) northwest to the Great Abaco Island during midday. This island was devastated by the Hurricane Dorian two weeks back. The US National Hurricane Center said that the maximum sustained winds was 105 km (65 mi) per hour but it would go on gaining strength till it becomes a hurricane by Sunday night. Forecasters have said that Humberto is expected to drop around 15.24 cm (6 in) of rain in certain areas of the Bahamas in Monday. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres took an aerial trip of Nassau on Saturday and looked visibly shaken.
