TransAsia crash: Plane 'lost engine power' moments after take-off
February 7 , 2015
Taiwanese officials say they are probing why both engines of the TransAsia flight GE235 were off before Wednesday's crash.
The black box data has indicated that one engine lost power and the other was shut down by the pilots.
The plane carrying 58 people crashed into a river; only 15 survived.
The aviation safety council said the right engine of the aircraft triggered an alarm 37 seconds after take-off from Songshan airport.
