Train services suspended, schools shut as two typhoons approach China

Officials in China have suspended train services, brought back trawlers to ports and shut schools in several areas that are in the path of two approaching typhoons in the eastern and southern parts of the country, according to media reports.
While typhoon Linfa is likely to make landfall in the southern Guangdong province, typhoon Chan-Hom is expected to hit Zhejiang or Fujian province.
Shanghai city will stop passenger train services to areas along the southern coast.
