Toronto International Airport collision: Plane struck by empty aircraft

  • A plane of WestJet Airlines called Boeing 737-800 was hit by a Sunwing plane at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. The collision took place on the ground. Boeing 737-800 was carrying 168 passengers and 6 crew members which were waiting for a gate when the collision took place. There were no injuries reported as the plane was empty and passengers of Boeing 737-800 were evacuated by emergency slides.
