Three Missing in British Columbia and Quebec Floods

  • As per reports, three people are missing and one has died as heavy flooding covered parts of the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Quebec.

    A man was travelling with his 2-year-old child in Quebec’s Gaspésie area when their vehicle was pushed off the road by powerful flood waters. The man’s body has been found; however, search for the toddler is underway.

    A local fire chief went missing after he was swept away by a swollen river in Cash Creek, British Columbia. An elderly man also went missing after his home in Tappen, B.C. was enveloped by mudslide.

    Evacuations are going on in the affected areas.
