Three climbers have died and two remain missing while returning from the summit of Mt Everest.
Mountaineering Department official, Gyanendra Shresth, said a South Korean, a German and a Nepalese-born Canadian woman had died while descending from the 29,029-feet (8,848-meter) summit.
Conditions were favourable on Friday and Saturday morning but a windstorm swept the mountain later on Saturday.
61-year-old German doctor Eberhard Schaaf was believed to have suffered from high altitude cerebral edema.
The Nepalese-Canadian climber has been named as Shriya Shah, while the South Korean mountaineer's name is yet to be confirmed.
