Thieves steal viking jewels from museum
October 23 , 2013
Thieves managed to steal several Viking artifacts from the Lund University Historical Museum in Sweden.
The security chief said the thieves used a lot of strength to enter through a window, which eventually broke.
Although an alarm went off, the criminals ended up escaping by the time police arrived at the scene. It is not yet clear as to what was stolen from the museum.
It's the second largest museum in the country and this is the first theft at the site since the 1950s.
The security honcho said the stolen items won't go on sale since "you can't discuss any value."
