June 8 , 2018
A software bug has accidentally changed the privacy settings of the Facebook users in the month of May. The privacy settings for the status update in Facebook was changed to “public” during May leading to another privacy screw-up. Facebook's head of privacy Erin Egan has apologized for this mistake and has told the media that they have fixed the issue. Now, they are letting everyone know about the privacy breach and are asking people to review their posts made during that time.
