Thailand: Suspected insurgents kill four soldiers in gun, bomb attacks

  • Suspected insurgents in Thailand have killed four soldiers in two attacks in the country’s south, the police said.

    In the first incident, gunmen targeted a car carrying four troops in Yala province. After shooting the soldiers, they reportedly stole the troops’ weapons.

    In the second attack, a car bomb was used to target a truck carrying soldiers in Pattani province. Eight soldiers were injured in the attack, the Thai police said.
