July 8 , 2018
With water level rising on a ledge deep in the Tham Luang cave (where 12 teenage boys of the young football team are trapped along with their coach), the rescuers have called Sunday the D-day for rescue. Narongsak Osottanakorn (the governor of Chiang Rai province) has confirmed that a group of 18 divers have started their mission to save the trapped football team. Reports say the trapped team will be extracted in 4 groups. While the first rescue group will extract 4 members of the football team, 3 members will be extracted each in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rescue groups.
