Thailand beach murders: police question British man

  • Thai police probing the murder of two Britons have questioned a British national in the case.

The man was physically examined and underwent a DNA test, reports said. A spokesperson for the Thai police said the man, a backpacker, has not been arrested, but told to stay on the island.

The bodies of David Miller, 24, and Hannah Witheridge, 23, were found on a beach at Thailand’s popular Koh Tao island on Monday, September 15. They had sustained deep wounds and the bodies were in a semi-naked state, police said.
