Thai PM appoints National Reform Steering Assembly

  • Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday appointed the 200-member National Reform Steering Assembly. The National Reform Steering Assembly includes 80 military officers and 120 civilians, according to a royal gazette issued with a list of all the assembly members. The assembly is obliged to compile and review opinions and guidelines pertaining to the planned reforms of the country, media reports said. Its term will depend on the new constitution.
