Tension Rises between Israel and Palestine after US Shifts Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem

  • Tension between Israel and Palestine reached tipping point after US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israeli capital. 3 rockets were fired from Gaza region, followed by retaliation from Israeli military hitting a weapons manufacturing site of Hamas early on Saturday. Israeli officials said one missile was found in wasteland, one was intercepted by them, and the third landed in Sderot. Israeli authorities didn’t report any casualty. Israeli air force conducted multiple airstrikes on Hamas sites. Palestinian Health Ministry has told media that at least 2 Palestinians are dead with 351 wounded and 748 poisoned (by teargas) after Israeli forces tried to disperse demonstrators.
