Ten priests charged with child sex abuse in Spain
January 28 , 2015
A Spanish judge in Granada city has charged ten priests and two others with child sex abuse, according to media reports.
The 12 are alleged to have abused four teenage boys from 2004 to 2007, with the most serious offences taking place in a house the Roman Catholic priests used.
In November, Pope Francis had telephoned one of the alleged victims, who is now 24, and offered his apologies. The pope also ordered an investigation by the church into the abuse allegations.
