A taxi crashed into a crowd of pedestrians on Saturday near Red Square of Moscow, injuring 7 people including 2 Mexican nationals who have come to the city for Fifa World Cup 2018. Traffic management authority of Moscow said the concerned taxi driver’s license was issued in Muslim-majority ex-Soviet republic country, Kyrgyzstan. In a Twitter post, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called it an unpleasant incident. Moscow police has reportedly opened a criminal investigation in the suspected traffic code violation. Video footage of the incident showed the concerned yellow Hyundai taxi pulled sharply out of the stationary traffic line and moved around 10 meters along the pavement before coming to a halt after hitting a traffic sign.
