June 9 , 2015
Around 50 civilians, including children, have been killed in Syria in air strikes allegedly carried out by government forces.
Children are among the casualties in the missile attack on al-Janudiya village in the country’s north-west, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an activist group based in the UK.
Al-Janudiya in Idlib province is under the control of rebel forces.
According to UN estimates, over 220,000 people have been killed in the Syrian conflict and 12 million have fled their homes in the past four years.
