Swiss votes on minimum wage

Switzerland is making Seattle's plan to increase minimum wage to $15 seem less noteworthy. Reports suggest that its residents vote on a minimum wage of $25 on Sunday and the change will affect about 330,000 people.
The Christian Science Monitor notes that the change will be beneficial since Switzerland is considered to be the most expensive city in the world.
"Rents are astronomical, health insurance is incredibly expensive, food is incredibly expensive," a resident said. However, a housekeeper mentioned that she would lose her job if her employer had to pay her more since he wouldn't be able to afford it.
