Sweden introduces border checks
January 4 , 2016
In an attempt to contain the number of migrants entering the country, Sweden has introduced identity checks for travelers from Denmark. As per media reports, travelers who do not have the necessary documents and want to cross the Oresund bridge by bus, train or ferry will be refused entry. To stem the flow of migrants, people who will be coming to Sweden by train will have to change trains at Copenhagen Airport and go through ID checkpoints.
