The police arrested four suspected jihadists in the Spanish territory of Ceuta, bordering Morocco, on Saturday, January 24, according to media reports.
Authorities said the two Spaniards and two Moroccans, believed to be two pairs of brothers, were part of a militant network.
Jorge Fernandez Diaz, Spain’s interior minister, described the four men as "highly radicalized” and highly trained.
The police said the four men had a profile similar to the gunmen who carried out the Paris terror attacks.
