Super Typhoon Trami Approaching Japan
September 26 , 2018
A super typhoon, which is heading towards Japan, has been spotted from the International Space Station (ISS) by an astronaut. This is again one of those high magnitude storms which have been recurrent this year in the western Pacific. Alexander Gerst, the astronaut, took to Twitter to post images and post a warning “Staring down the eye of yet another fierce storm. Category 5 Super Typhoon Trami is unstoppable and heading for Japan and Taiwan. Be safe down there.”
As per the latest news from the forecast departments, the storm is likely to hit the central and northern Taiwan, in addition to Ryukyu Islands of Japan.
