Suicide bombing in Afghanistan, six dead

  • A suicide bomber blew himself up in Afghanistan’s Logar province on Thursday, killing at least six people. Around 10 people were injured in the incident. Media reports quoted General Abdul Raziq as saying that a suicide bomber, who was driving an explosive-laden vehicle, blew it up near a special police base in Pul-i-Alam town. Officials have blamed Taliban for the attack; however, the militant group has so far not claimed responsibility for the incident.
