September 25 , 2019
Indonesia is witnessing the rage of the students who have taken to the streets in order to protest against a "disastrous" new law where outlawing extramarital sex would be considered as criminal offence. Some more articles which will fall into this new draft are outlawing adultery, unmarried couples living together and insulting the President, committing such would lead to imprisonment. Students claims that this controversial law can "weaken the nation's anti-corruption body". To protest against this new "draft criminal code", students have gathered outside the Parliament building in Jakarta demanding to suspend its plans to authorize the law.
