Storm Irma Threatens the USA after Hurricane Harvey

  • A new storm named Irma is threatening the United States even when the state of Texas is grappling to pick itself up. On Saturday, The U.S. National Hurricane Center has called Irma a small hurricane (Category 2 storm having 175 km/h wind) but also alerted that it will soon become a major one (Category 3 by Monday and Category 4 till next week’s beginning). The storm is expected to create havoc once it gets closer to the Lesser Antilles. Reports say several possible trajectories of Irma are possible and it is too early to determine what effect it could have on “the Bahamas and the continental United States”.
