Spicer Attacks 'Double Standard' over WikiLeaks Dump

  • As per reports, after expressing concern over Wikileaks releasing documents, which allegedly revealed CIA surveillance techniques, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Wednesday framed his response along political lines.

Linking the latest WikiLeaks document dump with the surveillance efforts during the Obama administration, he mentioned that there was ‘double standard’ in the level of outrage caused by different leaks.

His comments came as he faced questions about double standards after condemning leaks when it was about the President, while he praised the publication of emails by WikiLeaks, which were related to Hilary Clinton during the 2016 campaign.
