Spanish nurse may be clear of Ebola

  • Spanish nurse Teresa Romero Ramos who had tested positive for Ebola may be clear of the deadly disease, health officials in Madrid have reported to media on Sunday, October 19.

    She was part of a team that was caring for two Ebola patients, who were brought to Madrid for treatment from west Africa. However, the two patients, both missionaries, died in Madrid.

    Ramos, 44, has now tested negative for the disease for the first time after she was hospitalized around two weeks ago.
