Spain train driver held on suspicion of reckless homicide

  • The driver of the crashed train in Spain is being held by the police since the driver error is being blamed for the accident. Francisco Jose Garzon Amo could face formal charges regarding the crash, which killed 78 passengers. 

    There have been questions regarding the speed at which the train was traveling on Wednesday. Garzon has reportedly declined to answer questions and a judge is supposed to question him before determining whether or not to press charges. According to Spanish media, the driver was reportedly heard blaming himself and saying that he wants to die, immediately following the crash.
