Southeastern Europe: A 6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Albania

On Tuesday, a deadly earthquake struck Albania and killed nearly 23 people, hundreds have been injured and several are still missing. As per United States Geological Survey, the quake hit the European nation at a depth of 20 kilometers. The epicenter has been detected to be the port city of Durres, which is about 36 kilometers from the capital Tirana. As per the reports, nearly 45 people were rescued from Fuga and medical attention has been given to 650 people throughout the day. After the quake, schools in three cities - Durres, Lezhe and Tirana.
