South Korea: Three killed in shooting at convenience store

  • Three people have been killed in a shooting incident at a convenience store in South Korea’s Sejong city, around 75 miles from capital Seoul on Tuesday night, media reports said.

The victims include the manager of the store and one of his family members. The suspect was also later found dead in another city, the police said.

Though most South Korean men know how to use firearms because of mandatory military service, there is a ban on private ownership of guns, and such shooting incidents are rare.
