South Korea Suspects North Korea has Carried out another Nuclear Missile Test on Founding Day
September 10 , 2017
South Korean officials suspect North Korea has carried out another intercontinental ballistic missile test on September 9, which DPRK marks as its founding anniversary. South Korea reportedly conducted its fifth nuclear test last year. Rodong Sinmun, official newspaper of Workers' Party of Korea, on Saturday came up with a front page editorial saying North Korea should create “more high-tech Juche (self reliant) weapons”. Nuclear Safety and Security Commission has reportedly said that they have detected radioactive isotope xenon-133, which are only created during nuclear tests, thereby raising suspicion that North Korea has indeed conducted some kind of nuclear test.
