South Korea: MERS death toll reaches 7; hundreds quarantined

Another person in South Korea has died from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), taking the death toll to seven as the government struggles to contain both the virus and the panic it has caused in the country.
South Korea has been hit by the largest outbreak of the virus outside of Saudi Arabia, the country where MERS was discovered.
So far, the total number of confirmed cases in South Korea is 95, with more than 2,500 people quarantined and over 2,000 schools closed.
