South Korea activists launch anti-Pyongyang leaflets

  • The activists in South Korea launched thousands of anti-Pyongyang leaflets using giant gas balloons. This exercise of launching leaflets has been carried on for years now by the conservative activists of South Korea. Almost 50000 leaflets were launched tied to three large balloons from Paju city, which is close to the border with North Korea. This exercise marks the sixth anniversary of sinking of a South Korean warship which had killed 46 soldiers. South Korea has frozen its trade and investment ties with North Korea as it blames the latter for the incident.
