Six children injured during blast in Libya
February 6 , 2014
Unknown assailants threw a hand grenade into a school in Benghazi and the city's al-Jalaa hospital noted that the grenade injured 12 children in the legs.
Such attacks are common in the region but security officials are the main targets, making this attack a rare one.
One of the students mentioned that the grenade came into the school from outside the walls and reports suggest that the affected children are between the ages of 13-17. The blast was carried out while the students were playing outside before 11:00 local time.
A resident mentioned that people screamed and ran after the attack.
