Sinai crash has no evidence of terrorism, say Egyptian investigators

  • Egyptian investigators said that their preliminary report on a Russian plane which crashed in the Sinai in October killing all the 224 people on board found no evidence of terrorism. A Sinai-based group connected to the ISIS said that it bombed the aircraft which was en route to Russia from Sharm el-Sheikh. However, Russia believes the crash to be a terrorist act and has vowed to find and punish individuals behind the crash.
