Shooting in California School Killed One Child and Two Adults

  • As per reports, one child and two adults were killed in a shooting at 10:30 local time (17:30 GMT) at North Park Elementary School in San Bernardino, California.

    The estranged wife of the suspect, a teacher were killed and two children were wounded, one of whom succumbed to his injuries. The gunman then turned the gun on himself. The incident was described as suicide-murder attempt by the police.

    Around 600 students of the school were transferred to the nearby Cajon High School, where later their parents came.

    The gunman was identified as 53-year-old Cedric Anderson who entered the school as a visitor and kept his gun hidden until he opened fire in the classroom.
