Severe storms have battered northern Germany, killing at least one person and causing extensive damage.
A tornado caused widespread damage in Buetzow town, tossing cars 70 meters away and damaging buildings.
A man was killed in Hamburg when flying debris smashed into his car. Dozens of people have been injured.
Train and bus services were suspended in the region, sending travel schedules haywire.
Wind speeds up to 119 kmph have been recorded, reports said.
