Seven killed, 25 wounded in Iraq bomb blasts

  • A number of bomb attacks in Baghdad has killed at least seven people and wounded 25 others.

The deadliest blast near a busy restaurant in the Shula district of the Iraqi capital left four people dead.

At least four other bomb attacks have been reported in other areas of Baghdad.

Although violence in Iraq has declined in recent years, bomb attacks are a daily occurrence.

Thursday's blast follows two bomb attacks on May 13 in Baghdad, which had targeted security forces and killed six people.
