Second aid convoy leaves for Madaya

  • A second aid convoy is heading for Madaya, a besieged rebel-held town in Syria. As per media reports, around 40 lorries carrying medical supplies, hygiene products and flour departed from Damascus for Madaya on Thursday. Pawel Krzysiek, a spokesman for the International Committee of the Red Cross, said the ICRC was taking a nutritionist to assess the residents of Madaya.
