Scotland Yard to review information on Diana's death
August 18 , 2013
Scotland Yard is reportedly looking at new information on the death of Princess Diana. It hasn't revealed any details but said that it is "assessing its relevance and credibility."
Scotland Yard insisted on the fact that the 1997 case is not being reopened. A British jury ruled in 2008 that Diana and her companion, Fayed died due to reckless driving and because of the paparazzi chasing them.
According to a royal spokesman, Diana's children wouldn't comment on this new information and that the office of Prince Charles wouldn't comment either.
The agency said the assessment will be done by its officers from the specialist crime and operations unit.
