Russia's Proton-M rocket carrying Mexican satellite crashes in Siberia

A Russian space rocket carrying a Mexican communication satellite crashed in Siberia shortly after launch because of a malfunction.
This is the latest in a series of setbacks for the Russian space industry.
The third stage of the Proton-M rocket carrying the MexSat-1 satellite malfunctioned some 500 seconds after take-off from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur cosmodrome, media reports said.
The cause of the problem leading to the crash has not been established so far.
