Rod Rosenstein says Accusations against Him of Plotting to Remove President Trump is False

  • US Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has said that the accusations made against him by a report are “inaccurate and factually incorrect”. A leading US news agency cited anonymous sources to say that Rosenstein (the second most senior law official of the USA) suggested to record President Donald Trump secretly for exposing the chaos that is taking place in the White House currently. The concerned report also said that Rosenstein discussed about invoking a constitutional clause (25th amendment of the US constitution) for ousting President Trump. Reports say the US Deputy Attorney General made the comment after the then FBI director James Comey was fired by Trump. Rod Rosenstein also reportedly said that there is no basis of invoking the constitutional amendment for removing President Trump.
