Rocky fire in California: Evacuation orders given to 13,000 people

  • Firefighters are struggling to contain 20 wildfires raging in California. Around 13,000 people have received evacuation orders. The Rocky fire, which is the biggest blaze, has already consumed more than 145 sq. km. of land and some 9,000 firefighters have been trying to contain the fire throughout Monday. As per media reports, the fire tripled during the weekend and around 24 homes were destroyed by the blaze.
