Rob Ford to run for re-election
January 3 , 2014
Registration for Toronto's mayoral election opened today and Rob Ford submitted his paperwork with a slogan that said "Ford more years."
When the major candidate was asked how he thinks voters would trust him after his crack smoking controversy, he said his "track record speaks for itself."
"If you want to get personal that's fine," Ford said. "I'm sticking to my record, and talk is cheap."
He also cited various of his accomplishments (which were quite off), including the billions of dollars he saved the city as well as the best attendance record that he has on the council.
