Remains of one missing student identified in Mexico
December 7 , 2014
One of the 43 students missing in Mexico has been identified from charred remains that were found close to a garbage dump, reports said.
It was not immediately clear if other students’ remains have been identified.
A relative of a student named Alexander Mora reportedly confirmed that the remains were Mora’s.
The students have been missing since September 26 after a clash with the police in Iguala city in southern Mexico. The case has outraged the country, which is fed up with the high levels of violence and corruption.
